Spring Fling – May 2nd🪻🌱🌷

The Salmon Creek Community School Spring Fling returns Saturday, May 2 from 1–5 p.m. on the school grounds.

This long-running community favorite is centered around our 🪻🌱🌷plant sale 🪻🌱🌷, with plenty more to enjoy:

  • Potato Bar (come hungry)
  • Cake Walk (We love cookies, pies, too! All desserts welcome! The prettier the better!)
  • Raffle Auction (Buy tickets and place them with the items you’d like to win—one ticket drawn per item. Some gorgeous items just waiting for you to take them home.)
  • Open Mic (music, stories, or whatever you’ve got to share)

We’ll also be:

  • Introducing the Salmon Creek Stewardship Council and unveiling their new website
  • Sharing information about our local CERT team (Community Emergency Response Team) that is already in training (Yep, you can still join!)

We’re looking for:

  • 🪻🌱🌷 Plant starts
  • 🍰 Cake bakers
  • 🧍 Volunteers to help make the day run smoothly

This event has brought the community together for decades—come be part of it again.

Start You Seeds for Spring Fling – May 2nd

Spring Fling is around the corner!! Save the date, Start your Seeds and get your best recipe together for a baked item for our super fun Musical Cake Chairs. We will be doing Open Mic again too, so if you have a talent you want to share, we’d love to see it! 🪴🌻🎂🎤

Board Meeting – April 11th *New time 12PM

Our School Board Meeting is happening Saturday the 11th at 12 p.m. Please note that we have changed the time to an hour later. We meet in the Kennedy Building, and will also have the Zoom Link available.

Board Meeting – March 14th

SCCS will host our next board meeting March 14th, Saturday @11am, at the school in the Kennedy building. It will be available online via Zoom.

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to join. We look forward to your participation and valuable input towards bettering our community school.
